Interview with Naomi Paulus, winner of The Rhys Davies Short Story Award
Rhys Davies was one of the most prestigious and acclaimed Welsh prose-writers who wrote in English. Contributing over 100 short stories and twenty novels, he dedicated his life to writing. In 1991, the Rhys Davies Short Story contest was established. It was a prize for the best unpublished short stories written by those aged eighteen or older who are living in, or from, Wales. Call for Submissions: Essays from Marginalised Voices
In 2019, Parthian Books will publish an anthology of essays, which will platform a range of marginalised voices (including BAME, LGBTQ, people with mental health problems, neurodivergent, and disabled people). The aim of the book is to platform and celebrate diverse voices and identities from Wales, while giving the authors the freedom to write on any topic that they wish.
