Next Thursday see Latvian poet Krišjānis Zeļģis read from his recently translated poetry collection Beasts (Parthian Baltic, 2018). First Thursday also features guests Elizabeth Parker reading from her debut poetry collection, In Her Shambles (Seren 2018), and Poet/Novelist Christopher Meredith reading from his new short story collection, Brief Lives (Seren 2018). Biography, Dylan Thomas, New Releases, Three Lives of Dylan Thomas -

International Dylan Thomas Day is 14 May each year, and this year it coincided with the release of the new edition of The Three Lives of Dylan Thomas. Author Hilly Janes helped coordinate several events to commemorate the day, including a reading at Dylan Thomas' birthplace, and a book signing at a re-staging of Swansea And The Arts.
