We are very sad to learn of the death of Peter Kristufek, the Slovakian writer and film-maker who was killed in a road accident on Monday (April 23rd). He was 44 years old and leaves his partner and a young daughter. One of the leading creative voices of his generation in Slovakia, he had written several novels including Dom hluchého, which was published in English in 2014 as The House of the Deaf Man.
