We are delighted to reveal both shortlists in the prestigious New Welsh Writing Awards. Established in 2015 to champion the best unpublished short-form writing from Wales and beyond, we were excited to continue the awards in their tenth year running two writing competitions in 2024; The Rheidol Prize: for Prose with a Welsh Theme or Setting and new poetry prize The Borzello Trust Poetry Prize. The awards are made possible with thanks to the generous support from RS Powell and Bob Borzello and prize sponsors Literature Wales and Gladstone’s Library.

Team Parthian are thrilled to have made the list of finalists for Wales for Small Press of the Year once again!  In the words of Richard Davies, our Publishing Director: "We love being part of this annual celebration of publishing and bookselling – it’s also a great opportunity to see what all the other publishers have been up to without being called nosy."
