The Half-life of Snails: a busy month!
It's been just over a month since Philippa Holloway's lyrical, prescient debut novel The Half-life of Snails was published, and it's been a busy few weeks! The first launch, held at Staffordshire university, was followed by an online launch hosted by Edgehill Instistute of Social Responsibility, and then an event at Liverpool's fantastic WoWFest. Ward Nine: Coronavirus – Alys Morgan returns to the hospital that saved her life
Two years after she was admittted to Ward Nine of a north Wales Hospital with Coronavirus in April 2020, author Alys Morgan made an emotional return to Ward Nine, to thank staff there for their wonderful care of her, to present them with an autographed copy of Ward Nine: Coronavirus, and the chocolates she meant to give them two years ago!
