Two years after she was admittted to Ward Nine of a north Wales Hospital with Coronavirus in April 2020, author Alys Morgan made an emotional return to Ward Nine, to thank staff there for their wonderful care of her, to present them with an autographed copy of Ward Nine: Coronavirus, and the chocolates she meant to give them two years ago!
The hospital is still closed to visitors, but Alys is pictured here with Sister Sharon and nurses Emma, Lily and Anthony.
Alys thanked them for the care which saved her life, and said Ward Nine: Coronavirus was a heartfelt Thank You to NHS Wales and all its staff.
