The Carnival is a new pop-up bookshop in the centre of Cardiff that will provide an unrivalled selection of books from leading writers such as Rachel Trezise, Owen Sheers, Tristan Hughes, Cynan Jones, Deborah Kay Davies, Angela V. The Legends Table
2017 will be the Year of Legends in the literary world and we will have information on forthcoming literary ventures in Wales for 2017 from Literature Wales, The Welsh Books Council, Pen Cymru, Wales Arts Review and a host of other festivals and programmes across Wales. After the opening there’s another event at Waterstones Cardiff, for an entertaining evening with novelist and Library of Wales chair Dai Smith and Professor Peter Stead at 7pm talking about two new releases by William Glynne-Jones in the Library of Wales series and Dai’s new book, What I know I Cannot Say / All That Lies Beneath.
