Sarah Broughton's blog tour for Brando's Bride is going down a storm so far - the response from reviewers and bloggers is overwhelmingly positive. It kicked off on October 11th (Brando and Kashfi's wedding day) with a review from Books on the 7:47 that got straight to the heart of Sarah's intentions with this book: 'Sarah achieved what she set out to do, I won’t forget about Anna now, or ever simply think of her as Marlon’s first wife.'
The Shelf of Unread Books had this to say: 'Told with empathy, warmth, and insight, Brando’s Bride casts light onto one of the hidden histories of Hollywood... I found this to be a fascinating glimpse into the world that lies behind the glamour.'
And Cheryl M-M's Book Blog applauds the voice that Sarah gives to Anna Kashfi, saying she gives her a voice: 'speaking for the women who were used by the film industry as examples of exotic beauty, and then cast aside when they became too troublesome.'
