Pigeon flies the nest!

Pigeon -

Pigeon flies the nest!

Pob lwc/good luck to Theatr Genedlaethol, Theatr Iolo and the cast and crew of Pijin/Pigeon as they start their tour across theatres in Wales. We could not be more excited for Alys Conran’s characters to come to life on stage!

Get your tickets for Pijin/Pigeon here!

The production which has been adapted for stage by Bethan Marlow is based on the award-winning debut novel Pigeon by Alys Conran which was the first book to be published in both English and Welsh simultaneously. Pijin/Pigeon is staying true to that core theme of bilingualism, inherent within Conran’s writing, and each performance subtly weaves Welsh and English together as well as using integrated captioning in both Welsh and English. There is also audio described performances with a ‘touch tour’ an hour prior and BSL interpretated showings – full information here.

We have now re-issued Pigeon with a brand now cover in celebration of the production and we are delighted that several independent bookshops are supporting the tour throughout Wales.

The bookshops will be selling copies of the Pigeon in both English and Welsh, so don't forget to pop in and support the independents.
