Jasmine Donahaye’s Book Tour: Join Jasmine as she discusses her essay collection, Birdsplaining: A Natural History

Author of the award-winning memoir Losing Israel, Jasmine Donahaye is holding a book tour for Birdsplaining: A Natural History. Described by Mike Parker as “An absolute kingfisher of a book”, shortlisted for Wales Book of the Year, Creative Non-Fiction Award, and winner of the 2021 New Welsh Writing Awards: Rheidol Prize for Pose with a Welsh Theme or Setting.

Birdsplaining explores how women’s experience is shaped through observing the natural world and coming to terms with legacies of fear, uncertainty and the risk of getting things wrong. Jasmine Donahaye’s work has appeared in the New York Times Modern Love column, in the Guardian and on BBC Radio 4.
