About Lloyd:
Lloyd was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, before he and his family moved and settled in Bridgend, South Wales. He describes his teenage years as ‘miserable and strange and consisting of bad nights out’ before he embarked upon a degree in Creative Writing at the then University of Glamorgan, which is now the University of South Wales. Lloyd also earned an MPhil from the University of South Wales. He enjoys noise music, Japanese animation and the documentaries of Adam Curtis. His favourite book is Franz Kafka’s The Metamorphosis. He operates synthesisers in a band called Deep Hum and ‘has less bad nights out now’. Lloyd can be found most days on Twitter, making wry political comments.

Cassandra Fish believes she is out of this world, wearing her orange film-set spacesuit daily in the hope that her absent parents will return and take her back to her real planet.
