Glen James Brown’s debut novel Ironopolis – ‘a tapestry of working-class life in all its glory and pain.’ (Anthony Cartwright) – has stormed the shelves since its release last year.
With reams of gleaming reviews and a recent longlisting for the Orwell Prize for Political Fiction, we are now thrilled to announce plans to release an audiobook edition of the novel with Audible.
The editor of the project, Victoria Haslam, said this about the book:
“I absolutely fell in love with Ironopolis by Glen James Brown. The writing is beautiful, and I love how the stories are woven together. And with the Middlesbrough accents, I think it’ll sound incredible in audio!”
We can’t wait to see (or hear) how this turns out – the perfect excuse to experience the thrills and prose of Ironopolis once more!
